State health officials say 329 people tested positive for the COVID19 virus or 8.5 percent of the latest 3,850 test results that came back. Sunday’s results dropped the 7-day daily average to 390. With all test results included the positivity rate for new cases is now at 2.1 percent. Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services also reported 3 more deaths putting the death toll since the pandemic began at 6,481. Twenty-five people were hospitalized with the coronavirus. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reports 249 people with COVID-19 in the state’s hospitals with 66 in intensive care units.
Dodge and Fond du Lac counties both reported 1 new COVID-19 case on Sunday and Waupaca County had 3. No new cases were reported in Green Lake, Marquette, Waushara and Winnebago counties.
