State health officials Monday reported the lowest number of new COVID-19 cases since June of last year. The 178 new cases were 8.7 percent of the 2,054 test results that came back. The seven-day case average for new cases fell to 372. There were no new deaths reported keeping the death toll for the pandemic at 6,481 people. Twenty-seven people were hospitalized with the coronavirus. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says a total of 255 people are hospitalized with COVID-19 and 61 of them are in intensive care units.

Winnebago County reported 12 new COVID-19 cases Monday. Fond du Lac County recorded 10 new cases since last Friday, but it has improved enough to move its Safe Restart Program dashboard to Phase 3. Dodge County confirmed 5 new cases since last Friday. Green Lake, Marquette, Waupaca and Waushara counties had no new cases to report.
