Million Dollar Cash Bond Set For FDL Murder Suspect

Bond has been set at $1 million cash for a 30-year-old Fond du Lac man suspected in the shooting death of 39-year-old David Posey of Fond du Lac. Denell Logan made his initial appearance in Fond du Lac County court Tuesday on 1st degree intentional homicide and other charges. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 5th. Twenty-nine-year-old Callie Bender of Eldorado is charged for her role in purchasing a gun for Logan and harboring him. Her bond was set at $20,000 cash and she has a preliminary hearing on March 12th. Posey died after being shot in the left thigh on February 5th. The state Attorney General’s Office is prosecuting Logan and Bender.
