FDL Shooting Victim Dies
Two Fond du Lac residents are in custody in relation to the shooting death of a 39-year-old Fond du Lac man. The victim 39-year-old David Posey was taken to St. Agnes Hospital early last Friday morning and was later flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center after crashing his vehicle into a light pole and several parking meters. While at the hospital it was discovered he had been shot in the leg. Posey died at ThedaCare Friday evening. Foul play is suspected. A 30-year-old Fond du Lac man was arrested on a probation hold and a 29-year-old Fond du Lac woman on obstruction charges in relation to the shooting.

Police in Fond du Lac say a 39-year-old Fond du Lac man who struck a light pole and several parking meters with his car early Friday morning had been shot in the leg. The man was found in his vehicle in the area of South Marr and Sheboygan Streets. He was unresponsive, but breathing and was taken to St. Agnes Hospital. He was later flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. The gunshot wound wasn’t discovered until the man was at the hospital.
