Wisconsin surpassed two milestones Wednesday in the battle against the coronavirus; over a million people vaccinated and of those over 250,000 have gotten the needed two doses of the vaccine. The state’s Department of Health Services says nearly 264,000 state residents have completed the required regimen of two doses of the vaccine. Meanwhile 657 new cases of COVID-19 or 13.4 percent of the 4,885 recent test results were reported. State health officials also reported 10 more deaths bringing the death toll since the pandemic began to 6,214 people.

Winnebago County reported 18 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday. Eight new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 14 new cases. Green Lake and Marquette counties reported no new cases of the coronavirus. Waupaca County had 7 new cases and 1 death and the Waushara County Health Department had no new cases to report.
