State health officials only reported 1,095 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, but that made up 34.4 percent of the 3,182 test results that came back. It’s the fewest test results since May 11th, but the 7-day average of 1,292 new cases per day is the lowest since mid-September. Forty new deaths were also reported bringing the death toll from COVID-19 to 5,937 people since early last March. Department of Health Services officials say for the first time in a week hospitalizations for a single day were above 100 with 123 Tuesday. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says there are currently 657 COVID-19 patients in state hospitals with 158 in intensive care.

Winnebago County had 29 new COVID-19 cases yesterday.  Fond du Lac County reported 9 new cases and Dodge County had 10 new cases. Green Lake County recorded 2 more deaths and 1 new COVID case yesterday and Marquette County had 6 new cases. Waupaca County had 6 new cases and the Waushara County Health Department recorded 2 new cases.
