Just over 500 people tested positive Sunday for COVID-19 the lowest number the state has seen since early September. Just over 12 percent or 503 of the 4,186 new test results Wisconsin got back tested positive for the virus. There was 1 new death reported bringing the death toll to 6,162 people since the pandemic began in Wisconsin. The number of hospitalizations also continued to fall with 34 new coronavirus patients. The Wisconsin Hospital Association Sunday reported a total of 399 COVID-19 patients in the state’s 134 hospitals with 116 in intensive care. It’s the first time since September 19th that the state has had fewer than 400 patients admitted to hospitals with the virus.

Eight new COVID-19 cases were reported in Winnebago County Sunday.  Fond du Lac and Dodge counties both had 1 new case.  One new case was also reported in Green Lake County and none in Marquette County. Waupaca and Waushara counties both recorded 2 new cases each.
