COVID 19 Report Monday

The United States passed a grim milestone Monday with 500,000 COVID-19 deaths. Meanwhile Wisconsin reported no new deaths from the virus and the death toll in the state remained at 6,284 deaths for a second straight day. As for new cases there were 423 or 11.5 percent of the 3,674 test results that came back. The state Department of Health Services reported 32 new hospitalizations. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says 346 people are in state hospitals with the coronavirus and 95 of those patients are in intensive care units.

Winnebago County reported 26 new COVID-19 cases Monday.  Fond du Lac County has had 4 deaths and 31 new cases since last Friday and Dodge County 15 new cases over that same period.  Green Lake and Marquette counties reported no new cases. Two new cases were reported in Waupaca County and the Waushara County Health Department has recorded 3 new cases since last Friday.
