School Bus Accident In Waupaca County

One student was injured and the driver of a car that struck a school bus from behind on State Highway 22 at Autumn Street in Waupaca County Friday afternoon. Sheriff’s officials say the bus taking students home from school was heading north on Highway 22 when it came to a stop with its warning lights activated. A northbound car struck the school bus in the rear. There were 14 students on the bus with one suffering minor injuries. The driver of the car had to be extricated and was flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center with injuries. The accident in the Town of Larrabee was reported at 3:32 pm.
