Romper Room 2021
24 January 2021 News
Ripon WI – Looking to beat the winter blahs? Get active in the Ripon Public Library’s Romper Room!
Hosted in the Story Time room, the Romper Room offers time and space for caregivers to be active and engaged with their children. All ages are welcome with caregiver supervision.
Through the month of March, the Romper Room will be open, by reservation only, to one party at a time.
Extended time slots, of three-to-four-hour blocks, accommodate the unpredictability of schedules with young children. Users may utilize some or all of their reserved time.
Toys and activities that will be available include trike and trailer, balance bike, bowling, ball tosses, giant parachute, play carpets, hopscotch, giant LEGO bricks, hippity-hop balls, and scooter boards. Users are welcome to bring their own favorites too! Future acquisitions to the Romper Room will focus on large motor activity resources, such as tumbling mats, baby sensory and climbing stations, and balance beams.
Effective sanitizing procedures will be followed. A minimum of two hours between reservations allows for cleaning with a professional electrostatic sanitizing wand. Purchase of this professional grade system was made possible with funding from Ripon Noon Kiwanis and the Friends of the Library.
Call 920-748-6160 to reserve time in the Romper Room. For more information, contact Linda DeCramer, decramer@riponlibrary.org. Follow the library on Facebook for updates, and information on a host of excellent library programming for teens and adults, too!
