Rescue On Lake Winnebago

A 46-year-old man was rescued from Lake Winnebago Friday night after he couldn’t make it back to shore due to weather conditions. The man called the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office just after 8 pm, but contact with his cell phone was lost. Search crews found him nearly two hours later west of Brothertown Harbor on Lake Winnebago. He was about a mile off shore, but unharmed.
