Driver Dies In Waupaca County Crash

The driver of an SUV killed when the vehicle went off a road in Waupaca County and hit some trees has been identified. Sheriff’s officials say 72-year-old Dana Jensen of rural Waupaca died at ThedaCare Medical Center in Waupaca following the accident Thursday. They got a report just before Noon that day about a single vehicle accident on County Highway E and Crystal Lake Road in the Town of Lind. The southbound SUV had crossed the northbound lane, entered a ditch and struck several trees. It was Waupaca County’s first fatal traffic accident of the year.
