Wisconsin reported 1,328 people tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. The positivity rate of just over 20 percent out of the 6,553 test results is the second lowest this month. New cases were reported in 67 of the state’s 72 counties. Thirty-four more deaths were reported putting the cumulative death toll at 5,787 people since the start of the pandemic. The state also reported 93 more hospitalizations due to COVID. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says 734 people are being treated in state hospitals for the virus with 160 of those patients in ICU.

Winnebago County reported 32 more COVID-19 cases Wednesday and 1 death. Fond du Lac County recorded 21 new cases and Dodge County had 31 new cases. Five new cases and one death were reported in Green Lake County and Marquette County had one new case. Six new cases were recorded in Waupaca County and the Waushara County Health Department says the county had one new case.
