Wisconsin is nearing another unwanted milestone during the pandemic 5,000 total deaths. State health officials reported 95 more deaths Tuesday bringing the cumulative total since the first deaths in March to 4,979 people. The state also reported 3,403 new cases or 41.5 percent of the 8,208 test results it got back yesterday. Also over a 24-hour period 216 people were hospitalized with the coronavirus with 1,102 current hospitalizations and 245 of those patients in ICU.

Winnebago County reported 58 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday and 3 more deaths.  Fond du Lac County recorded 37 new cases and 4 more deaths. Twelve new cases were reported in Dodge County.  Green Lake and Marquette counties each reported 5 new COVID cases yesterday.  Eleven new cases were recorded in Waupaca County and the Waushara County Health Department reported 1 new case, but 2 more deaths.
