Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services says the state had nearly 3,800 new COVID-19 cases Thursday and reported 40 more deaths due to the virus. The forty new deaths brought the cumulative total to 5,079 people. Ninety-nine more people were hospitalized due to the coronavirus yesterday. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reports 1,077 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19 and 244 patients are in intensive care.
