In wrestling Tuesday night Plymouth defeated Ripon 38-21.

The Milwaukee Bucks made an NBA-record 29 3-pointers in their 144-97 romp over the Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat on Tuesday night. Milwaukee shot 29 for 51 from beyond the arc, two nights after going 7 for 38 in a loss to New York. The Bucks used 13 players and 12 made at least one 3 — two-time reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo was the only one who didn’t. Khris Middleton had four 3s and scored 25 points, Jrue Holiday made six during his 24-point effort and Donte DiVincenzo was 5 for 6 from deep to finish with 17 points. Antetokounmpo had only nine points.  The record-breaking shot was made by Sam Merrill, who got the 28th 3-pointer with 6:07 remaining, giving the Bucks a 131-86 lead. The previous record for 3s in a game was 27, set by Houston against Phoenix on April 7, 2019. Tyler Herro scored 23 points for the Heat. Jimmy Butler missed the game with a sprained right ankle. It was the biggest road win in Bucks history, and it matched the second-worst loss in Heat history.

  • The Packers meet the Bears Sunday at Lambeau Field for the 202nd time in the NFL’s oldest rivalry.  With a win Green Bay clinches home-field advantage throughout the playoffs in the NFC while the Bears need a win to stay alive for a playoff spot.  Green Bay looks to sweep the regular-season series between the two teams for the second straight year, for the 16th time in the last 27 years (since 1994) and the eighth time in the last 12 seasons. It’s the first time since 2013 that the Packers will close out the regular season at Chicago and marks only the second regular-season meeting between the teams at Soldier Field in the month of January (2004 season).
  • Including a 2010 playoff victory at Chicago, Green Bay has won 21 of the last 26 meetings between the rivals at Soldier Field.
  • Seven of the last eight games between the two clubs at Soldier Field have been decided by single digits.
  • This is the first time since 2005 that both meetings with Chicago come in Week 12 or later.
  • With Aaron Rodgers at quarterback the Packers have won 20 of their 25 games against the Bears.

Meanwhile,  Packers running back AJ Dillon has been nominated for the NFL Rookie of the Week after rushing for 124 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday’s 40-14 win over Tennessee. Packers fans are encouraged to vote for Dillon through Friday at 2 p.m. CT.

With his career-high 124 yards rushing and two TDs on 21 carries (5.9 avg.) on Sunday, Dillon became the youngest player in team history to post 100-plus rushing yards and two-plus rushing TDs in a game,  Dillon gained 5-plus yards on 13 of his 21 carries against the Titans. The last Packers player to pick up 5-plus yards on 13 carries in a game was Ahman Green at Tampa Bay on Nov. 16, 2003.
