Fatal Accident In Dodge County

Road conditions, blowing snow and wind were factors in a fatal two-vehicle crash in Dodge County’s Town of Rubicon early Saturday afternoon. Sheriff’s officials say a 40-year-old Neosho man was heading east on State Highway 60 near Jefferson Road when he lost control and entered the westbound lane where his SUV was struck broadside by a pickup truck. A 50-year-old Horicon man was driving the pickup truck, which also was occupied by his 11-year-old son. All three were taken to a nearby hospital where the Neosho man died. The Horicon man and his son were treated and released. The accident was reported at 12:30 Saturday afternoon.
