Former Green Lake County Republican Party Chairman Alex Dallman will be representing the 41st State Assembly District. Dallman got 61 percent of the vote to defeat Democrat Nate Zimdars and Independent candidate Jean Bartz. He succeeds Joan Ballweg who moves on to the State Senate. In other Assembly races from the area Republican candidates defeated their challengers. Kevin Petersen won in the 40th, Jon Plumer in the 42nd, Jeremy Thiesfeldt in 52nd, Michael Schraa in the 53rd and Scott Krug in 72nd. Assembly Minority Leader Gordon Hintz got 54 percent of the vote in the 54th to defeat Republican challenger Donny Herman.
