School Referendums Pass

School referendums passed in the Ripon, Omro and Oshkosh School Districts Tuesday. For the third time Ripon Area School District voters supported a 6-year operational referendum that puts $500,000 more into the district each of those years. The vote was 3,467 in favor and 2,155 against. Two questions were passed in the Omro School District, one to exceed revenue caps and the other to borrow $9.4 million for district-wide remodeling. Voters in the Oshkosh School District approved two questions. The first was to exceed revenue caps and the second asked to borrow $107 million to build new elementary and middle schools and to make district-wide improvements.
