Zimdars Running For State Assembly

A Democratic candidate for the 41st State Assembly District says he’s the one candidate that can truly appreciate how important Agriculture is to the state. Nate Zimdars grew up on his family’s hobby farm and currently works on the production line at Saputo Cheese in Waupun. He’s also a Ripon School Board member. He says the legislature needs more members that have an agricultural background. “It’s important that we have more individuals who have an agricultural background. It’s one thing to say that you support farmers and are willing to listen and to learn, but it is another thing to have come from that background. There are just certain things that you intimately know from having grown up within agriculture.” The Ripon man says he’s seen first- hand the impact that COVID-19 has had on farmers and industry. His other priority issues are, Rural Infrastructure including Broadband access, and Healthcare. Zimdars is one of the three candidates in the race for the 41st State Assembly seat.
