Senator Johnson Tests Positive For COVID 19

5 October 2020 News

U.S. Senator Ron Johnson over the weekend tested positive for COVID-19. The federal lawmaker from Oshkosh was tested Friday and later learned he had tested positive for the coronavirus. He attended an Oktoberfest fundraising dinner in Mequon Friday night while awaiting the results of the test. Johnson revealed his diagnosis Saturday. He says he did not remove his mask at Friday’s fundraiser until he addressed the crowd and was at least 12 feet from anyone while speaking at the event put on by the Ozaukee County Republican Party.
