Markesan Armed Robbery Suspect Makes Initial Court Appearance

Bond has been set at $100,000 cash for a 61-year-old Markesan man suspected of the armed robbery of Ted’s Piggly Wiggly in Markesan on September 27th. Tyrone Emig, Jr. made his initial appearance in Green Lake County court Tuesday morning. He is charged with one count of armed robbery as a repeater. Another hearing was scheduled for November 3rd. The suspect in the robbery pointed at what appeared to be a handgun in his waistband and demanded money. He fled on foot with the money. He was wearing a surgical mask and sunglasses when he entered the store.
