Joni Anderson Running For State Senate
7 October 2020 News
A former factory worker from Adams is running as a Democratic candidate for the 14th State Senate District seat. Joni Anderson held that factory job for 27 years, during which she also held offices in the union that represented workers for the auto parts plant in Necedah. She would like to see the minimum wage increased and people make better wages. “It is time we have new leadership down in Madison and I also feel that there have been some really basic necessities for people in this state that just haven’t been addressed such as wages and health care.” Anderson would like to see family medical leave and sick leave become paid benefits. Other issues she identifies are realistic funding for roads and public schools, non-partisan redistricting, and protecting our state parks, public spaces and environment.
