Greening Runs For State Assembly
26 October 2020 News
On the ballot State Assembly candidate Criste Greening is listed as a Democrat, but her motto is “People over Party.” The candidate for the 72nd State Assembly seat says she is about representing the interests of district residents and doesn’t go in for partisan politics. “Like numerous other folks across our communities I’m fed up with partisan politics, the right side versus left side mentality. The constant party politics of fighting and suing each other in court instead of working together as elected officials for the betterment of all Wisconsin citizens.” The former special education teacher and advocate for clean water and the environment is challenging four-term Republican incumbent Scott Krug. Greening lives in the Town of Saratoga in Wood County. She is married and has three children. The 72nd State Assembly District includes portions of Wood, Portage, Adams, and Waushara County.
