FDL Man Charged In Drug Overdose Death

Bond has been set at $150,000 cash for a 41-year-old Fond du Lac man suspected in the Fentanyl overdose death of a woman at a rooming house in Fond du Lac in May. Robert Harris faces felony charges of first degree reckless homicide, first degree recklessly endangering safety, and maintaining a drug trafficking place. Harris is suspected of providing the drug to the woman that led to her death. According to the criminal complaint 911 wasn’t called until two hours after the victim was dead and a witness said someone at the rooming house tried to use Narcan to try and revive the victim, but she was probably already dead. The rooming house is located in the 100 block of West 2nd Street. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for this Friday.
