FDL County Health Alert

24 October 2020 News

With Fond du Lac County experiencing high levels of new COVID-19 cases County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller issued a health alert Friday. She noted the County experienced 240 new cases on Friday alone. Mueller says the increasing numbers are putting a strain on their contract tracing efforts and for that reason they will be prioritizing contacting positive cases. They will be contacting those 65 years old and older, those 18 years of age or younger, and all others will be contacted as capacity allows. If you test positive stay home and isolate a minimum of 10 days from symptom onset, if you were tested and do not have symptoms remain isolated for 10 days from the date of testing. Contact your employer or school and ask close contacts to quarantine for 14 days from the last day of contact with you.
