Wisconsin reached another milestone in the pandemic Sunday. The 2,676 new COVID-19 cases give the state 150,236 since the outbreak began on February 5th. The new cases were 26 percent of the 10,247 test results that were returned to the state yesterday. The number of active cases in the state reached 28,988. There were also 7 new deaths reported bringing the death toll in Wisconsin due to the virus to 1,465 people.
Winnebago County reported 150 new COVID-19 cases Sunday and over the weekend surpassed 6,000 total cases. It now has 6,173 cases since the outbreak began in February and 42 deaths. Fond du Lac County has reported 2,888 total cases and 15 deaths. With 71 new cases yesterday Dodge County has 2,550 totals cases and 19 deaths. Twenty-four new cases were reported in Green Lake County, which has 459 cases and it had its first COVID death over the weekend. Marquette County had 17 news cases giving it 406 total cases with 2 deaths. Waupaca County reached 1,604 total cases over the weekend with 24 deaths. Waushara County is nearing 600 total cases with 596 cases and 3 deaths since the health crisis began.
