Wisconsin passed a grim milestone Monday as the 2,883 people who tested positive for COVID-19 pushed the total number of cases since testing began in February to 201,049 cases or over the 200,000 mark.  A total of 12,749 test results came back yesterday with 22.6 percent of those test results or the 2,883 coming back positive. Ten new deaths were also reported to put the death toll at 1,788 persons.  The Wisconsin Hospital Association reported 1,350 current hospitalizations with 329 of those patients in Intensive Care Units.

Winnebago County reported 82 new COVID-19 cases Monday putting its total cases at 8,553 with 56 deaths.  Fond du Lac County recorded 359 new cases since last Friday giving it 4,425 totals cases with 19 deaths. Dodge County reported 472 new cases since last Friday pushing its total cases to 3,945 and 3 new deaths putting that toll at 27 persons. Nineteen new cases in Green Lake County give it 725 total cases with 2 deaths. Seven new cases in Marquette County put its total cases at 602 with 2 deaths. Waupaca County now has 2,420 total COVID cases with 38 deaths. The Waushara County Health Department had 74 new cases since last Friday to give it 980 total cases and 5 deaths since the pandemic began.
