Only 717 new COVID-19 cases were reported Tuesday, but the 17.6 percent rate of positive cases was a record for Wisconsin. Only 4,083 test results were reported, but 50 of the state’s 72 counties reported new cases. During the first seven months since the state’s first coronavirus case, Wisconsin has identified 82,477 cases.  Of those cases 73,122 people have recovered. One death was reported with the death toll from the pandemic in the state at 1,168.

Winnebago County reported 15 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday giving it a total of 1,730 cases with 21 deaths. Dodge County had 12 new cases and 39 since last Friday giving it a total of 1,272 cases with 6 deaths.  Fond du Lac County had 61 new cases since last Friday putting its total cases at 1,303 with 10 deaths. One new case was reported in Green Lake County giving it a total of 112 cases.  Marquette County had no new cases remaining at 110 total cases with 1 death. Waupaca County is nearing 800 total cases with 791 total cases and 18 deaths. Since last Friday Waushara County has had 21 new coronavirus cases giving it a total of 204 cases since the outbreak began with 2 deaths.
