After four straight days of at least 1,000 new daily cases of COVID-19 Wisconsin dropped down to 771 new cases Monday. But that was 19.7 percent of the 3,920 test results that came back, not quite as high as the 20.5 percent positive rate the state saw Sunday. No new deaths were reported yesterday so the death toll for the coronavirus since last February stands at 1,210 people. Since testing began 89,956 state residents have tested positive for the virus and 78,527 have recovered.

Winnebago County Monday moved past 2,000 total COVID-19 cases. The 23 new cases reported give the county 2,019 with 22 deaths. Fond du Lac County recorded 75 new cases since last Friday putting its total cases at 1,472 cases with 12 deaths. Dodge County had 1 new case giving it 1,417 total cases and 8 deaths. Seven new cases were reported in Green Lake County, which now has 140 total cases. No new cases were recorded in Marquette County, which has 146 total cases and 1 death. Waupaca County Public Health is reporting 827 total cases of COVID and 18 deaths due to it. Waushara County recorded 12 new cases over the weekend putting its total cases at 242 with 2 deaths since the health crisis began.
