State health officials only reported 266 new COVID-19 cases Monday the fewest since June 23rd when there were 263 cases. But the 3,818 test results that came back were the fewest reported in a 24-hour period since June 1st when 3,632 results came back with 3.8 percent testing positive. The 266 new cases of coronavirus yesterday were 7 percent of the test results. No new deaths were reported with the death toll remaining at 1,122 since the pandemic began. Even with the fewer cases Monday 43 of the state’s 72 counties reported new cases.

Winnebago County reported 16 new cases of the coronavirus Monday bringing the county’s total cases to 1,528 with 21 deaths. Dodge County has reported 1,162 total cases of COVID with 60 since last Friday and a total of 5 deaths. Fond du Lac County reported 85 new cases since last Friday putting its total cases at 1,153 with 10 deaths. That’s slightly lower than the 95 reported the weekend before. One new case was reported in Green Lake County, which has had 92 cases. Two new cases in Marquette County puts its total cases at 91 with 1 death. Waupaca County is reporting 690 COVID cases with 17 deaths. Waushara County Health Department reported 13 new cases since last Friday giving it 162 cases with 2 deaths.
