Nine Year Girl Injured In Tractor Accident

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say a 9-year-old girl suffered a significant leg injury while riding on a hay-style wagon attached to a tractor Sunday afternoon in the Town of Empire. The girl’s leg became entangled with the wheel. She was flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The accident at N6154 Grandview Road was reported just before 2:30 Sunday afternoon. In addition to Sheriff’s deputies, Eden Fire Department, City of Fond du Lac EMS, Eden First Responders, and ThedaStar responded to the call.
