Fifty-nine of Wisconsin’s 72 counties saw new COVID-19 cases Tuesday with 638 people testing positive or 6.4 percent of the 9,987 test results that came back. The state has now had 71,492 residents test positive for the coronavirus since the outbreak began in early February. There are still 7,385 active cases in the state. Department of Health Services officials also reported 13 more deaths yesterday bringing that toll to 1,085 during the current pandemic.

Winnebago County reported 13 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday and one new death raising its totals to 1,383 cases and 21 deaths. A dozen new cases were reported in Dodge County putting its totals at 1,046 cases and 5 deaths. Fond du Lac County edged closer to 1,000 cases with 19 new cases of the virus giving it 993 total cases. It also reported another death raising that total to 10.  Green Lake County reported 4 new cases giving it 87 cases. Marquette County has 1 new case giving it 83 total cases and 1 death.  Waupaca County recorded 16 new cases of COVID putting its totals at 620 total cases with 17 deaths. The Waushara County Health Department reported 7 new cases giving it 145 total cases and 1 death since the health crisis began.
