Ripon School District Roadmap To Re-entry Plan

22 July 2020 News

The Ripon School District released a “Roadmap to Re-entry Plan” Monday sharing it with staff, parents and the Board of Education. It’s a detailed plan addressing safety concerns and protocols for reopening school during the pandemic. Elementary students will begin the year using an in-person learning model transitioning to virtual learning if it becomes necessary. Middle and High School students will experience blended learning in-person on certain days and virtual on others. Face masks will be required for students and staff at the Middle and High School. Symptom screening and temperature checks will take place at the point of entry into a school building. Lunch will be done through a closed campus. School Board President Gary Rodman says, “It’s a dynamic plan that allows the district to adapt to a fluid situation.”  The plan is available on the Roadmap to Re-entry Page under the Families tab of the district website.
