One Killed One Injured In Green Lake County Accident

One person was killed and another seriously injured when an SUV collided with a self-propelled agricultural sprayer Wednesday night on Green Lake County Highway A at Hickory Road in the Town of Mackford. When deputies and rescuers arrived both vehicles were in a ditch rolled on their sides. The 60-year-old man operating the sprayer had minor injuries and wasn’t transported. The 73-year-old man driving the SUV was dead and his passenger a 72-year-old woman was flown to a hospital with serious injuries. Investigators say the SUV was heading north on County Highway A and struck the sprayer which was eastbound on Hickory Road from a stop sign at the intersection. The accident was reported just before 9 pm Wednesday evening.
