State health officials say for the first time in two weeks new COVID-19 cases were less than 4 percent of test results that came back. In fact the 3.9 percent or 495 new cases came out of the 12,594 results. Meanwhile nine new deaths were reported bringing the toll since the outbreak began to 805 in Wisconsin. Fifty-three of the state’s 72 counties reported new cases of the coronavirus on Tuesday.

Yesterday Winnebago County reported 8 new COVID-19 cases putting its totals at 723 cases and 13 deaths. Dodge County reported 3 new cases giving it 487 cases and 5 deaths.  Fond du Lac County saw a spike in new cases with 14 bringing its totals to 349 cases with 6 deaths. Green Lake County had no new cases Tuesday and has reported 40 cases of COVID-19, but Marquette County had 7 new cases giving it 31 cases and 1 death. Waupaca County Public Health Services reported 6 new cases and 1 new death bringing its totals to 150 cases and 10 deaths. The Waushara County Health Department reported 2 new cases giving it 35 cases since the pandemic began.
