COVID 19 Report Sunday

The state’s Department of Health Services says there were 769 new COVID-19 cases Sunday or 10.1 percent of the 7,617 test results that came back. This follows a three day stretch in which the state set records for the number of tests that came back positive. New cases were reported in 56 of the state’s 72 counties and there have now been a total of 36,448 cases since the outbreak began on February 5th. One death that was reported in error has been taken off the total, which now stands at 820 or 2.2 percent of all cases reported in the state.

Winnebago County reported 11 new cases of the coronavirus Sunday bringing its totals to 771 cases and 11 deaths. Dodge County reported 4 news cases giving it 515 total cases with 5 deaths. Fond du Lac County is nearing 400 cases with 22 new cases giving it 396 cases with 6 deaths. Green Lake County had one new case bringing its total to 43 cases and Marquette County has had 49 cases with one death. Waupaca County had 6 new cases Sunday giving it 175 cases with 13 deaths, and Waushara County reported 1 new case giving it 44 total cases of the pandemic.
