State health officials say 957 new COVID-19 cases were reported Sunday or 9.6 percent of the 9,978 test results they received. Since testing began in early February Wisconsin has had 48,827 cases of the coronavirus and 817,549 residents have tested negative. Fifty-eight of the state’s 72 counties reported new cases yesterday. One person died from the virus putting the death toll at 892 during the pandemic.

Winnebago County now has 954 total COVID-19 cases with 23 new cases reported Sunday and has had 16 deaths. Dodge County surpassed 600 cases over the weekend with 25 new cases including 8 new cases yesterday giving it a total of 617 cases and 5 deaths. Fond du Lac County had13 new cases Sunday and now has a total of 493 cases with 6 deaths. Green Lake County had no new cases over the weekend remaining at 49 cases, and Marquette County had 6 new cases over the weekend putting its total at 67 cases with 1 death. Waupaca County saw a spike in its cases yesterday with 37 new cases for a total of 312 cases and 14 deaths. Waushara County reported 7 new cases Sunday bringing its total to 69 cases since the pandemic began.
