Wisconsin saw a slowdown in its new cases of COVID-19 Monday with 590 cases, but that was 8.5 percent of the 6,946 test results that came back. That gives the state 49,417 confirmed cases since February 5th with 9,873 of those cases still active. Forty-seven of the state’s 72 counties reported new cases yesterday. One new death was reported bringing the toll since the pandemic began to 893 in the state.

Six new coronavirus cases were reported in Winnebago County Monday bringing the county’s total to 960 cases with 16 deaths. Dodge County had 5 new cases to report giving it 622 cases with 5 deaths.  Fond du Lac County moved past 500 total COVID-19 cases Monday now reporting a total of 501 cases with 6 deaths. No new cases were reported in Green Lake County, which has had 49 total cases. Marquette County also had no new cases and has had 67 cases total with 1 death. Waupaca County Public Health Services is reporting 21 new cases putting its total cases at 333 with 14 deaths. Waushara County has had 18 new cases since last Friday bringing its total to 87 cases during the global health crisis.
