Meth Lab Busted In Green Lake County

Authorities in Green Lake County took two men into custody Tuesday after busting a methamphetamine lab in the Village of Marquette. Sheriff’s officials say a number of items consistent with production of the drug were discovered at the meth lab at 418 East Second Street. A 53-year-old Marquette man and 26-year-old Marquette man were taken into custody. Charges are being referred to the Green Lake County District Attorney’s Office. Due to the hazardous nature of chemicals used to make meth the clean-up took several hours. The Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force and Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation partnered in the investigation.
