Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say a juvenile male from Little Chute is facing charges for leading deputies on a high-speed chase that covered 18.5 miles early Saturday morning. A deputy spotted a vehicle doing 89 miles an hour on Interstate 41 near Hickory Street in Fond du Lac and tried to pull the vehicle over. It took an exit into Fond du Lac, but quickly got back on I-41 and headed north. The pursuit was cut off near Highway 44 in Winnebago County. Charges being referred against the boy include felony fleeing, operating without a driver’s license, and speeding.

A deputy spotted a vehicle doing 89 miles an hour on Interstate 41 near Hickory Street in Fond du Lac and tried to pull the vehicle over. It took an exit into Fond du Lac, but quickly got back on I-41 and headed north. The pursuit was cut off near Highway 44 in Winnebago County. The vehicle had Minnesota license plate number AHL 495 and was 2004 VW Jetta GL 4-door sedan black in color. The driver was white.
