Fatal Accident In Green Lake County

One person was killed and another injured Friday morning in a three-vehicle accident on State Highway 23 near St. Marie Road in Green Lake County. Sheriff’s officials say they got a 911 call about the accident in the Town of Brooklyn at 6:35 am. A westbound SUV drifted into the eastbound lane striking the rear of a semi then hit a passenger car trailing the semi nearly head-on. The driver of the passenger car was killed. The SUV driver suffered minor injuries and the semi driver wasn’t hurt. Highway 23 was closed for 5 ½ hours.
