Nearly 4.3 percent or 432 of the 10,070 new test results for the state came back positive for COVID-19 Wednesday. Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services says the total number of cases since the outbreak began now stands at 25,763. New cases were reported yesterday in 40 of the state’s 72 counties. There were also 7 more deaths bringing that total to 757 since the pandemic began.
Winnebago County reported 7 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday giving it 626 total cases and 11 deaths. With 4 new cases Dodge County has 444 cases and 5 deaths. Fond du Lac County reached 300 cases with 2 new cases and has also recorded 6 deaths. Green Lake County reported 1 new case giving it 26 cases while Marquette County remains at 10 cases with 1 death. Waupaca County has 6 new COVID-19 cases bringing its total to 102 with 6 deaths and Waushara County has reported 20 cases.
