The state passed a grim milestone Tuesday moving past 700 COVID-19 caused deaths. Nine more deaths brought the toll to 703 since the beginning of the outbreak. The state’s Department of Health Services also reports 266 new cases or 2.4 percent of the 11,149 new test results that came back. There have been a total of 23,198 cases and the number of people who have tested negative is more than 414,000.

Fond du Lac County reported 2 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday bringing its total up to 275 with 6 deaths. Winnebago County had 5 new cases giving it 537 cases and 9 deaths. Dodge County had no new cases and remains at a total of 424 with 4 deaths. Green Lake County held steady with 24 cases and Marquette County also had no new cases, its totals remain at 9 cases and 1 death. Waupaca County had 1 new case for a total of 80 cases and 4 deaths.  Waushara County Public Health says a case from another county was accidentally attributed to them so they have actually had 18 cases of the virus.
