Nearly 4 percent or 422 of the 10,599 new test results returned to the state health department Thursday came back positive for COVID-19. That’s the highest percentage rate in the past two weeks. Seven new deaths were also reported bringing that total to 719 since the outbreak began in February.  Wisconsin will surpass 24,000 COVID-19 cases this weekend with 23,876 reported through yesterday.

Winnebago County reported 18 new coronavirus cases Thursday bringing its totals to 569 cases with 10 deaths. Dodge County had 1 new case bringing its totals to 426 cases with 5 deaths. Fond du Lac County is at 278 cases after two new cases were reported and has also had 6 deaths. Green Lake County held firm with 24 cases and Marquette County totals of 9 cases and 1 death also remained the same.  There were 2 new cases reported in Waupaca County, which has 84 cases and 5 deaths, while Waushara County is reporting 18 cases since the pandemic began.
