The percentage of new positive COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin increased for a second straight day Thursday to 3.6 percent. The state’s Department of Health Services says 333 of the 8,990 test results came back positive. Wisconsin will eclipse 22,000 cases today ending the day Thursday with 21,926 cases since the outbreak began. Eleven more deaths were also reported bringing the state’s toll to 682 deaths.
Winnebago County reported 16 new coronavirus cases Thursday and has had a total of 473 cases and 8 deaths. Four new cases were reported in Dodge County bringing their total to 414 with 4 deaths. Fond du Lac County has 2 new cases giving it a total of 252 with 6 deaths. Green Lake County has 23 cases and Marquette County has two new cases bringing its total to 9 cases with 1 death. Waupaca County is reporting 67 cases of COVID-19 and three deaths, and Waushara County has 14 cases.
