Just over 4 percent of 12,148 COVID-19 test results that came back Thursday or 492 tests were positive for the virus. State Department of Health Services officials say the state is nearing 20,000 total cases and has 19,892 since the outbreak began in February. But Thursday’s testing was the fifth day in a row that positive results were under 5 percent. Ten more deaths were also reported bringing that toll to 626.

Dodge County reported 3 new COVID-19 cases Thursday bringing its total to 386 with 3 deaths. Winnebago County reported 25 new cases giving it a total of 309 with 7 deaths. There were 2 new cases in Fond du Lac County, which has totals of 225 cases and 5 deaths. Green Lake County remained at 22 cases and Marquette County has 5 cases and 1 death.  Waupaca County has 2 new cases bringing its totals to 47 with 1 death and Waushara County has reported 10 cases.
