State health officials say the percentage of cases that tested positive for the coronavirus over the weekend increased to more than 5 percent each day hitting a high of 7.1 percent on Sunday. That translates to 457 new cases yesterday of the 6,481 new test results. Wisconsin has now seen 27,743 total positive tests since the outbreak began in February. There were no new deaths reported yesterday as the death toll for COVID-19 in the state stands at 777. Meanwhile the number of deaths worldwide has now exceeded 500,000.

Winnebago County reported 12 new COVID-19 cases Sunday bringing its total to 655 with 11 deaths. Dodge County had 3 new cases come back positive yesterday putting its totals at 455 cases with 5 deaths. Fond du Lac County has 309 cases of the coronavirus and has had 6 deaths. Two new cases were reported in Green Lake County putting its total cases at 32 and Marquette County has one new case giving it 13 cases with 1 death. Waupaca County has reported 107 cases and 9 deaths and Waushara County wrapped up the weekend with one new case putting its total of COVID-19 cases at 23.
