While other states in the U.S. appear to be seeing surges in COVID-19 cases Wisconsin appears to be holding steady. Another 249 cases or 3.8 percent of new test results Monday in the state came back positive for the virus. That now gives the state 25,068 cases since the pandemic began. Monday also saw one new death reported bringing that total to 745.
Winnebago County reported 7 new COVID-19 cases Monday bringing its total to 608 with 11 deaths. There were 3 new cases in Dodge County where there have been 437 cases and 5 deaths. Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says they had 12 new cases over the weekend bringing their total to 298 cases with 6 deaths. Green Lake County has reported 24 cases and Marquette County reported one new case yesterday and now has had 10 cases and 1 death. Waupaca County reported 5 new COVID-19 cases and 1 new death Monday bringing its totals to 96 cases and 6 deaths. The Waushara County Public Health Department has reported a total of 19 cases of the coronavirus.
