Abandoned Warehouse Fire In FDL

Fond du Lac firefighters were called to the scene of a major fire at an abandoned warehouse this morning. They responded to the former Northern Casket Company at 16 North Brooke Street about 3:30 this morning. Fire Department officials decided to battle the blaze defensively or in other words from outside the facility. Other area fire departments were called for mutual aid. Streets were blocked off near the scene. The Northern Casket Company was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in January of 2019.
